JUDiTH+ROLFE was commissioned to produce paper illustrations for the Explore Minnesota insert featured in the January/February 2019 issue of Midwest Living Magazine.

The editorial illustration concept aimed to convey the idea that Minnesota is a destination worth visiting year-round. In collaboration with Explore Minnesota Tourism, an interactive piece with a unique twist was created: the illustration is divided into four flaps, each representing a different season. As readers open each flap corresponding to a season, they discover travel information tailored to that particular time of year.
