Plafond Art Déco
In this collaboration with French gift wrap company, Impression Originale, JUDiTH+ROLFE embarked on a project to reimagine the exquisite Art Deco stained glass ceiling of the iconic Parisian department store, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
The intricate stained glass design finds its representation in the captivating Op-art pattern of the 'Optical Wave' gift wrap by Impression Originale. Employing a layered approach, the wrapping paper background stands as a distinct entity, facilitating the interchangeability of patterns as desired.
The artwork was subsequently displayed at Impression Originale's Christmas 2017 L'Atelier Cadeau Créateur (Designer Gift Workshop) at Le Bon Marché.
